Before you book

Model digitals,
explained.

What are modeling digitals?

Modeling digitals, sometimes called model polaroids, are simple photographs that show your current appearance. They are different from a styled editorial shoot or retouched headshot. The agency’s current instructions determine the views, wardrobe and files you need.

Do I need a professional photographer to apply?

Not always. Follow the agency’s submission instructions first; a paid session is not a requirement for every application. A guided session can help you get consistent framing and a clear set of the requested views.

Are modeling digitals retouched?

Digitals are intended to show you naturally. No skin smoothing, body reshaping, beauty filters or AI alterations. We confirm any permitted crop, exposure adjustment and file formatting against your agency’s instructions.

What should I wear and bring?

Bring the agency’s submission instructions and simple, fitted clothing without distracting graphics. Keep hair and grooming natural. Makeup and wardrobe requirements vary; follow the specific agency’s brief.

How much does a digitals session cost?

Send your required views, agency brief and preferred date for a quote. Session length, photo count, location and any additional costs are agreed before booking.

When will I receive my photos?

Standard turnaround is 48 hours for select services; your digitals delivery date is confirmed in your quote. Next-day delivery is only available by prior arrangement, with any rush fee agreed before booking.

Always use the agency’s current requirements. For example, FORD’s submission guidance emphasizes a natural appearance. No agency affiliation is implied.
