Ocean Beach guests are not booking a resort. They are booking a cottage with a patio, a short walk to Newport Avenue, the dog beach and the pier. The photos should read relaxed and real, not staged.

The light here is the sell. Sunset Cliffs is a few blocks away and the whole neighborhood glows late in the day. Exteriors and outdoor spaces are scheduled for that window, interiors earlier while the rooms are bright.

Many OB rentals are older buildings with character. Original wood, tile and garden patios are photographed as features, with straight lines and true color so the charm reads as charm and not as neglect.

Yes. If the rental is pet-friendly, the yard, gate and walk to Dog Beach get their own frames, because that is the filter those guests use.
